There is a gap in the market for a non-toxic, cost-effective magnetic resonance agent/product. NitroSci has created a product that will be clinically used to identify and monitor a patient's progress throughout treatment. As a research tool, the product will also prove to be a valuable tool in the development of new therapies and to learn more about the progression of osteoarthritis.
Our Founders
Dr. Gerald Rosen
Professor of Chemistry
Dr. Rosen established NitroSci Pharmaceuticals, LLC in 1996 to develop stable free radicals, such as nitroxides, as diagnostic tools for MR Imaging. For the past 35 years, Dr. Rosen has synthesized nitroxides for a wide variety of biological applications, including MR contrast agents.
Dr. Erika Schneider
Radiologist
Dr. Schneider has worked with Dr. Rosen and with NitroSci Pharmaceuticals for over ten years and joined the company in 2006. Dr. Schneider has over 25 years of industrial experience spanning the full range of basic and clinical research for the development and transition of new drugs, devices and technologies from bench to clinic to market.
Thomas Schubert
President of NitroSci
Mr. Thoms Schubert was the founder and CEO of MRI Devices from 1992 until its sale to a publicly-traded company in 2005. Because of his successful entrepreneurial expertise, Mr. Schubert provides the missing commercial management expertise.
